August Social: Summer Sunset at Semiahmoo Resort
Escape to the coast with Whatcom Young Professionals for a summer sunset at Semiahmoo Resort! Join us for an evening on the beach with a private fire area, s’mores, drinks, and good company.
We’ll have a private beachside fire area set up just for our group, complete with a propane fire table (or another option that complies with any current burn restrictions) and everything you need to make your own s’mores. A cash bar will also be available on the beach throughout the evening.
Hungry? Semiahmoo’s onsite restaurant, Packers, will be open for dinner and offers to-go options that you can enjoy outside. Since the restaurant is expecting a large group that evening, we recommend ordering food early in the event or making a reservation for after the Social to avoid a long wait. You’re also welcome to stick around and enjoy dinner at Packers after the event!
Come soak up the last stretch of summer, catch a sunset, and enjoy a laid-back evening with some of Whatcom County’s coolest young professionals.
Hosted by a different venue on the fourth Thursday of most months, Whatcom YP Socials is a monthly staple that allows members to network together at a venue they may have never tried. Attendees can always expect a fun, casual networking experience and are bound to meet at least one new person each time.
