Join us for our Members-Only Family Picnic! 

You're invited to our Members-Only Whatcom YP Family Picnic/Potluck!

We're bringing back an old Whatcom YP tradition with a special event for our members, friends, and family - a picnic at Lake Padden.

Whatcom YP will provide guests with hamburgers, hot dogs, buns, and condiments; we ask that you join our potluck by bringing something listed on our sign-up genius form! Lake Padden has a no-alcohol policy.

We will be hosting this event at the playground picnic shelter, so you'll want to enter/park at the East (second) Entrance of the Park to access where we'll be.

Registration for this social is REQUIRED to ensure everyone has enough food. When registering, please let us know how many people are attending with you and mark off dietary restrictions as listed in this event's registration. For example, if you are vegetarian or gluten-free, please note that so we can have veggie patties or gluten-free buns for you.
*** For those with larger families, we ask that you limit the number of +1s to no more than five people (in addition to yourself).

All Whatcom Young Professional members are responsible for conducting themselves professionally and inclusively, and disciplinary action will be taken when a Whatcom Young Professional’s behavior violates this expectation. The Policy covers harassment, bullying, and discrimination in Whatcom Young Professionals and provides a standard for addressing allegations of inappropriate behavior, ensuring fairness and equal treatment.

Any Whatcom Young Professional member found to have been involved in harassment, bullying, physical assault, or discriminatory behavior will be subject to immediate disciplinary action, up to and including membership termination. If anyone on the Whatcom Young Professional Advisory Council becomes aware or witnesses a Whatcom YP member engaged in inappropriate behavior, the member will be asked to leave the event or meeting, which may result in the termination of membership decided by the advisory council.
