Lend a hand and help our community look its best as we are able to open up again! We're encouraging our members to trek out to a public park or trail over the weekend of June 13th-14th and clean up trash to help keep our community clean.
You will need to provide your own trash bags, gloves, protective clothing, etc. We have permission to place trash bags in the public receptacles at parks and downtown. If there is no trash can at your location, you will need to dispose of it on your own.
Please make sure to practice proper social distancing if you're bringing friends along with you for the trash pick-up.
No registration is necessary, but please "check in" at your location, tag Whatcom Young Professionals in your post, and post a pic with the hashtag #TrashtagWhatcom!
